What are some simple pasta dressing recipes?

I've noticed in a lot of recipes we need vinegars or mustards neither of which I have so no vinegars or mustards.

Also no ready made sauces that I have to add anything to.

Thank you!What are some simple pasta dressing recipes?
You can make a cold pasta salad with Clear Italian dressing already in the bottle.

Just cook the pasta as usual, drain, let it cool in the fridge, then stir in the Italian dressing and whatever else you want (tomato, celery, or nothing at all).

It's also pretty good with ranch dressing (I add bacon bits and pieces of cheese). It's better with a little vinegar added to the ranch but you don't need that to make it.

Both are cold salads but if you have salad dressings it'll be a good summer salad.What are some simple pasta dressing recipes?
I love Pesto with pasta.

I usually make it from scratch instead of buying it in the store.

Ingredients:

* 2 tablespoons coarse-chopped walnuts or pine nuts

* 2 garlic cloves, peeled

* 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

* 4 cups basil leaves (about 4 ounces)

* 1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method:

You will need a food processor or strong blender. With the motor running, drop the pine nuts and garlic through the feed chute. Process until finely minced. Add the olive oil and pulse three times. Add basil, Parmesan cheese, and salt to the processor bowl. Process until finely minced, scraping down sides

If you like, you can also add some peppers of courgette or any vegetable really into the food processor to give the sauce a different taste.

You can refrigerate the leftovers and use within 1 week.
I LOVE garlic so when i don't want to make a home made marinara/spaghetti sauce i make a lovely garlic sauce. I chop about 6-8 heads of garlic very well.(it really depends on how much pasta you're cooking- I usually cook 1/2 box of WW pasta at a time). Then I add some butter/margarine/oil about 1/4 cup to saute the garlic for 3-4 min, I also add dried spices like parsley and oregano. After the garlic is cooked I then toss it with the pasta and throw in some halved cherry tomatoes. Its EASY, QUICK AND DELISH!!
alfredo sauce

one 8 ounce package cream cheese, 1 cup parmesean cheese

1/2 stick of butter

and 1 cup of milk

put it all in a pan and heat on medium low stirring frequently until cream cheese is thoroughly melted ((( i like to add some garlic, and basil for a little extra flavour )))

do not let it boil

if it boils it gets grainy and greasy (yuck!)
Try this, my mom used to make it all the time and put it over pasta and shrimp. Don't know if you have any shrimp, if not it will still be delicious!

You will need:

Olive Oil

Hot pepper flakes

Parmesan cheese

Cook the oil in a hot pan and add the hot pepper flakes. This is when she would cook the shrimp, too.

Pour over pasta and add as much cheese as you want. It's so simple yet so good!
