Does anyone have any really GOOD DELICIOUS PASTA RECIPES?
I don't know what this is called but it is one of my favorite things to make. Its just fancy spaghetti I guess. My mom used to make this once a week and I love it, now I make it all the time.
I use multi grain or whole wheat spaghetti noodles. For the sauce it always varies a bit depending what I have on hand, but start with tomato/spaghetti sauce, ad some sort of cooked meat, ground beef/pork/turkey, or diced chicken breast, even shrimp works good. Mushrooms, green/red bell peppers, onions, etc, whatever you like. I usually ad some fresh chopped tomatoes or canned if I don't have fresh. I try to make the sauce pretty thick as I prefer it that way. When ready to serve, put noodles/sauce on a plate, then grade as much cheese on top of that as you want, then put it in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes to melt the cheese and heat everything up really nice.
Sorry I don't have exact ingredients, I just use what looks right and its always turned out...
How about mac and cheese? That's a very easy recipe or you can buy it ready made and frozen in the freezer sections at your supermarket.
Here is a home made recipe for you:

OLD FASHIONED MAC 'N CHEESE
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
4 tbsp. butter, divided
1/4 c. all purpose flour
3 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. plain dry bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water in large saucepan just until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, mustard, salt and peppers. Bring to boil, whisking. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and whip in cheeses until melted and smooth. Stir in drained macaroni. Pour into shallow 2 quart baking dish. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter, stir in bread crumbs and sprinkle over macaroni. Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
