What are some easy but tasty pasta sauce recipes that I can make with few ingredients?

I need to make lunch and all we have are noodles. Are there any pasta sauce recipes that I can make with just the normal ingredients I have laying around my kitchen (EX: Butter, Garlic, etc.)? I can't go out and buy anything so I have to make due with what I have. What are some easy but tasty pasta sauce recipes that I can make with few ingredients?
There are a few ingredients that always add lots of flavor, and will make a great sauce in a pinch.

1. garlic - this has tons of flavor. Either slice it thinly or mince it finely. Either way, use lots of it.

2. Onions - if you caramelize these by cooking them longer on low heat until they are nice and brown (but not burnt!), this will add rich flavor to your sauce.

3. Balsamic vinegar - add a spoonful or two of this into your sauce, and it creates a richness that is delicious!

4. Parmasean cheese - add some right into the sauce, it's very tasty!

5. Dried herbs - basil and oregano are traditional, and you can't go wrong here... but for a change, try thyme and rosemary if you have them... this combination is wonderful.

Aside from these, you need a can of tomatoes (whole, diced or crushed), and some simmering time. Add a bit of extra olive oil into the sauce, and you're good to go!What are some easy but tasty pasta sauce recipes that I can make with few ingredients?
Heat a little extra virgin olive oil in a pan, when it's hot, add finely chopped onion and lower heat to mid-low flame. Let cook for three or four minutes, add a clove of garlic, crushed. Let cook for two minutes, and remove the garlic.

Add crushed tomatoes (you can buy them in a jar). Buy the tomatoes that have nothing else added to it. No salt, nothing.

Add a pinch of salt, some pepper and a spoonful of sugar (to cut the acidity of the tomatoes).

Let cook for at least 30 minutes, at a low simmer.

You can also add hot pepper flakes right before the onions, and some fresh basil, when you add the tomatoes.

Butter %26amp; garlic alone are good. Melt butter in a pan, saute garlic lightly and toss with noodles. Or if you have it, add some fresh chopped parsley or cilantro to the butter/garlic mixture before tossing in the noodles.
Butter, Parmesan cheese, noodles. Salt and pepper to taste. Toss gently and serve.

Fettuccine Alfredo. Melt butter and add cream. Add a clove of peeled garlic, if desired, cook until mixture thickens. Remove garlic clove and serve.
Pasta with butter and garlic is awesome. You can add jars of sauce, tuna and mayo, chicken and veggies. Pasta is so versatile that you can add just about anything to it.
