Any exciting pasta recipes? Anything original?

Vodka Cream Pasta...just a second and I will post the recipe! It is a recipe from Rachel Ray and I made it for my fiance. It is incredible and pretty simple to make. Plus it looks really impressive. =)Any exciting pasta recipes? Anything original?
try egg noodles,sauteed diced onion an sliced hotdogs,add 1 can of cream of celery soup an 1 can of diced tomatoes an 1/2 can of water ,salt %26amp; pepper to taste an garlic powder to taste, stir all ingredients together qiuck an simple.YUMAny exciting pasta recipes? Anything original?
tuna pasta bake


boil pasta, drain then


mix in pasta sauce (tomatoe)


throw in some sweetcorn, peppers etc


all into a oven dish


flakes of tuna scattered on top


then finish of with gratted cheese

Pasta with Tuna Sauce





Saute a large onion cut in small wedgesin a small amount of oil till transleucent.





add 1 can of tomato paste and 16 oz of water.





1 teaspoon of salt and 2 bay leaves





Simmer for 1/2 hour.





Dain a can of tuna in oil.





Add to tomato sauce and just heat till warm.


Remove bay leaves


Serve over Linguini with romamo cheese
parpadelle pasta (the long, flat kind)


sliced chicken breast


sauteed spinach (fried with onions, garlic and mushrooms)


sliced button mushrooms


celery


garlic


chopped fresh basil


brocolli


red pepper


cheesey alfredo sauce


double cream


walnut pesto


white wine





parmesan cheese %26amp; ground black pepper to taste





basically throw all veggies %26amp; chicken together together with a bit of olive oil stirfry till everythings soft add walnut pesto, cream and alfredo sauce cook for about 5 minutes add wine (not too much cos you don't want it too runny) cook for another few minutes and voila yummy

1- Baked pasta with chili tomato chicken sauce





This is very similar to baked pasta with Bolognese sauce, but here chicken is used instead of minced meat and black olives and some herbs are added.

Main ingredients Pasta, Chicken, Tomato sauce, Black olives, Cheese


Time of preparation 25 Minutes


Time of cooking 35 Minutes

Ingredients 1 pack Penne ,or spiral or any medium shaped pasta


3/4 Chicken ,whole or 4 chicken breasts, boiled


1 Onion ,medium size, chopped


1 Garlic Clove ,crushed


2 tbsp Corn Oil Crystal


4-5 Tomatoes ,medium size, diced


1 Green Pepper ,large size, diced


Chili Powder ,according to taste


1 tsp Thyme ,dried and crushed


1 tsp Oregano ,dried and crushed


1/2 cup Black Olives ,sliced


2/3 cup Cheddar Cheese


1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese


Salt and Pepper





Directions


Remove skin and bones from chicken. Take out strips of chicken flesh using your fingers or cut into strips. Boil pasta and drain.


Meanwhile, prepare sauce. In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and stir until yellow.


Add garlic and green pepper and pepper becomes soft (2-3 minutes). Add chili powder and stir. Add tomatoes with their juice, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper.


Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Add pasta, chicken and olives and stir well.


Brush a baking dish with oil. Move components of pan into baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top.


Heat oven to 180-200 C. Put baking dish in oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately in the same dish.





2- Baked pasta with smoked veal and mustard





This dish has so many new and different ideas; smoked veal, mustard and cheese are added to b茅chamel making it richer and more cheese is added on top to make the dish extra rich.

Main ingredients Shell pasta, B茅chamel, Smoked veal, Mustard, Cheese


Time of preparation 20 Minutes


Time of cooking 40 Minutes

Ingredients 1 pack Pasta ,shells, or any other kind of small pasta


3 tbsp Butter


3 tbsp Flour


5 cups Full Cream Milk


1 cup Cheddar Cheese ,grated


2 tsp Mustard ,seeded


250 g Smoked Veal ,cut into strips


5 Spring Onions ,sliced


2 cups Mozzarella Cheese ,shredded


Salt


White Pepper





Directions


Preparing b茅chamel


In a medium pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add flour stirring constantly until smooth.


Add milk whisking frequently. Add cheddar cheese, mustard, salt and white pepper and stir. Bring to boil. . Remove from heat.


Making the dish


While sauce is being prepared, boil pasta and drain.


In a deep baking dish, put pasta to form an even layer covering the bottom of dish. Sprinkle spring onion slices then smoked veal over pasta.


Pour b茅chamel over pasta in dish. Cover the top with shredded mozzarella.


Heat oven to 200 C. Put baking dish in oven for about 20 minutes or until surface becomes golden. Serve immediately.





3- Hot pasta with chicken and tomatoes





The for like hot and chili sauce with pasta.

Main ingredients Tagliatelle, Chicken, Tomatoes, Chili pepper, Capers


Time of preparation 15 Minutes


Time of cooking 15 Minutes

Ingredients 1 pack Pasta ,any medium shaped (500g)


4 Chicken Breasts


2 Tomatoes ,medium size, ripe


8-10 Cherry Tomatoes


1/4 cup Olive Oil


1-2 Red Chili Pepper


1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar


2 tsp Lemon Peel ,grated


1 tbsp Capers


Salt





Directions


Grate ripe tomatoes or blend in a blender with 1 tbsp water. Cut cherry tomatoes in half each. Cut chili pepper into very small pieces.


Cut chicken breasts diagonally into medium slices. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium heat and pan-fry chicken pieces until golden.


Boil pasta and drain. Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add blended tomatoes, chili pepper and 陆 cup water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.


Add cherry tomatoes, salt and lemon peel and stir for half a minute. Remove from heat.


In a serving platter, put pasta. Sprinkle chicken pieces over pasta, pour tomato sauce on top then sprinkle vinegar and capers. You can garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately.





Tip


Don鈥檛 boil pasta and set it aside till you make the sauce. Boil it while making the sauce so that you drain it and add it to the sauce right away. Pasta is always at its best when it has just been boiled and drained.





4-Hot tuna pasta salad





This is a different salad recipe. Tuna and pasta are known to be good together but the original thing about this recipe is that it is served hot.

Main ingredients Pasta, Tuna, Carrots, Mayonnaise, Mustard

Time of cooking 20 Minutes

Ingredients 2 cans Tuna Fish ,chunks


2 Carrots


1 pack Shells Pasta ,(500g)


1/2 cup Mayonnaise


1/3 cup Lemon Juice


1 tsp Dijon Mustard


1 tsp Sugar


1 tsp Basil ,dried and crushed


Salt and Pepper





Directions


Boil carrots until just tender. Drain and slice them. Drain tuna and mash flesh with a fork. Put carrots and tuna in a large serving bowl.


Boil pasta and drain. Add to serving bowl.


In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, sugar, basil, salt and pepper. Add to pasta and tuna in bowl. Serve hot.





5- Italian shrimp and pasta salad

Main ingredients Shrimp, Pasta, Red pepper, Pine nuts


Time of preparation 20 Minutes


Time of cooking 15 Minutes


Serving 4





Ingredients 1/3 cup Olive Oil


1 1/2 tbsp Vinegar


1 1/2 tbsp Pine Nuts ,toasted


1 tbsp Basil ,fresh, chopped


1 tbsp Parsley ,fresh, chopped


400 g Pasta ,shells, boiled


500 g Shrimp ,small, cooked


2 Red Peppers ,medium size, cut into strips


125 g Cherry Tomatoes ,cut into halves


1 tbsp Olive Oil


leaves Basil ,fresh for garnish





Directions


In a food processor, process olive oil, vinegar, pine nuts, basil and parsley using medium speed until smooth. Refrigerate until needed.


In a large serving bowl combine pasta, shrimps, red peppers and tomatoes. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and salt according to taste.


Pour dressing over salad and stir to mix well then garnish with basil leaves. Refrigerate until ready to serve.





6- Pasta fajita





This dish is like the famous delicious Mexican fajita with the addition of pasta. This dish will be a winner in your family for everyone and for all occasions.

Main ingredients Penne, Beef fillet, Peppers, Tomato sauce, Cheddar cheese


Time of preparation 35 Minutes


Time of cooking 40 Minutes

Ingredients 1 pack Penne ,or shells pasta (500 g)


400 g Beef ,fillet steaks


3 tbsp Corn Oil Crystal


1 Green Pepper ,medium size


1 Red Pepper ,medium size


2 Red Onions


2 Garlic Cloves ,crushed


1 Red Chili Pepper ,cut into very small pieces


3 Tomatoes ,medium size, very red


2 tsp Tomato Paste Fine Foods Knorr


1/4 cup Lemon Juice ,


1/2 tsp Cumin


1 cup Sour Cream


1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese ,shredded


Salt and Pepper





Directions


Cut fillet slices into strips 1.5 cm thin. Put meat in a large bowl. Add tomato paste, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Leave to marinate overnight.


Cut peppers into sticks. Slice onions then cut each slice in half. Rub with your fingers to form onion strips. Peel and seed tomatoes then blend with 戮 cup water.


Boil penne and drain. Meanwhile, make tomato sauce. In a small saucepan, heat 陆 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add chili pepper, then blended tomatoes and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens.


In a wok or large skillet, heat remaining oil over high heat. Add meat strips and cook until done stirring frequently. Half way through cooking, add peppers, and red onions. Remove from heat and keep warm.


Serve penne on a platter, pour tomato sauce on top then add meat mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top. Put sour cream in a teacup and even surface. Invert in the center or on the side of pasta platter. Serve immediately.





Tip

7- Pasta quatro fromage





This is such a delicious dish. If you are a cheese lover, this shall be one of your favorite dishes. The combination of Parmesan, ricotta, Gouda and Roquefort cheeses makes the great taste. You can also exclude any of those cheeses or replace it to suit your taste.

Main ingredients Penne, Parmesan cheese, Gouda cheese, Roquefort cheese, Ricotta cheese


Time of preparation 10 Minutes


Time of cooking 25 Minutes

Ingredients 1 pack Pasta , (500 g), any kind


1 cup Double Cream


1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese ,grated


1 cup Gouda Cheese ,shredded


125 g Ricotta Cheese


100 g Roquefort Cheese


Salt and Pepper





Directions


Boil pasta and drain.


While pasta is boiling, prepare sauce. Cut Roquefort cheese into small cubes (1 x 1 x 1 cm).


Put a medium deep pan over medium heat. Stir in cream.


Add all 4 cheeses, stir slowly until all cheeses melt and sauce becomes smooth (2-4 minutes). Add salt and pepper. Be careful to add little salt since the cheeses are already salty.


Put pasta while still hot on a serving platter and pour sauce over it. Mix well with sauce. Serve immediately. You can sprinkle little grated Parmesan cheese on top.
