it is appetizers. Why do they call some Antipasta salad recipes, Antipasta, when they include pasta?
I believe it's called antipasto with an O not an A.
It's ';antipasto';, meaning ';before the meal';.
anti is the prefix meaning '; before';. it is the dish that comes before the main entree, but that does not mean that pasta cant be one of the ingredients.
They usually don't have pasta.
This is kind of a funny question. But yea, it means it cmes before the meal and I had an antipasto salad that involved no pasta. Only meats, cheese, and olives on lettuce!
good question. I've been wondering that myself.
