Looking for pasta recipes and type noodles that involves fried tofu and NO mushrooms?

the best thing about pasta and noodle dishes is that you can always take out something if you don't like it and replace it with something you do.

Boil your pasta and set aside (mix with a little oil to keep it from sticking). Use your favorite shape - or if you want something with an asian style, but rice noodles and cook according to pkg directions. Don't overcook. You want pasta to have a bite to it.

Try taking 3 or 4 veggies off this list, all great for quick cooking, and put them in a pan with a little oil and a 1/4 cup water to create steam. Over medium heat add salt, pepper, garlic and cook for 5-10 minutes until still crispy but hot and cooked the way you like them. Add the tofu towards the end to heat it through.

Then add either tomato sauce, asian sesame dressing, pesto sauce, or your other favorite sauce and mix over the heat with the pasta.

Red or Yellow Peppers (sliced)

Broccoli (cut small)

String Beans (cut off ends)

Peas (add towards the end so they dont overcook)

Celery

Onion

Tomatoes

Add any of your favorites or try something new too!Looking for pasta recipes and type noodles that involves fried tofu and NO mushrooms?
A friend was just talking about a dish like this....she slices tofu, about 1/2 inch thick, marinades them in tamari (soy sauce), lots of chopped ginger and garlic. After 45 mins - 1 hours, cut into big dices, fry and toss with rice noodles. Sounds nice, I haven't tried it yet myself!Looking for pasta recipes and type noodles that involves fried tofu and NO mushrooms?
I just bought the Tofu Shirataki pasta noodles they're supposed to taste like regular pasta and are even microwaveable.
