I'm looking for some new pasta recipes. Pasta is my family's favorite dish but I'm getting tired of the same dishes over %26amp; over. Please, share some good recipes with me!!Unique pasta recipes? Anyone?
Try making your own pasta from scratch. Buy a pasta machine and you can have fresh pasta, which, in my opinion is way better.
I don't have a recipe handy, but pasta dough is really easy to make, just semolina, eggs and water ( the pasta machines come with an instruction manual and recipes). In the past, I've made Tri-Colored Pheasant Ravioli with Garlic Cream Sauce, which are out of this world!!Unique pasta recipes? Anyone?
fettechini alfredo, lasagna, spaghetti, stuffed shells, tuna casserole
Saute in EVOO, onion, garlic, mushrooms, asparagus, add bit of butter. serve over angel hair pasta
This is very easy to make and delicious--but it's very garlicy! The recipe is Spaghettini with Checca Sauce by Giada De Laurentiis of the Food Network.

This one is very different.... and very very very good

Avocado and Pesto Pasta Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups pine nuts or walnuts
1 bunch basil
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 avocado, chopped
pasta
PREPARATION:
Process together all ingredients except the avocado and the pasta in a food processor until almost smooth, adding more liquid if needed.
Toss together with avocado and hot pasta.
I dont use exact measurements with this sauce, but add just enough of each herb that you like and taste test as you go.
1 lot of ground beef (depending on how much you prefer)
1 chopped onion
1 clove of garlic or 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
celery salt
garlic salt
ground ginger
tomato sauce
worcetershire sauce
1 jar of spaghettie sauce of your choosing, I prefer 'leggos' bologneses sauce (Im not sure if you get leggos brand where you live though) but any brand you like would do.
Oil for cooking
Place some oil in a saucepan and add the diced onion and garlic cooking it until it is translucent, not browned. Add the ground beef and cook until it is browned through. Sprinkle with a small amount of celery salt, Garlic salt (I dont usually use a lot of this) and ground ginger (this adds a sweetness to the sauce so I used more of this than the other herbs) to your liking. Cook for a few minutes and then add a good squirt of tomato sauce atleast a couple of tablespoons and about an 1/8 to a 1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce. Finally add the jar of spaghetti sauce and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes. Taste testing and adding more of the sauces or herbs you like until your happy with it.
Enjoy!
16 oz container of fresh mushroom, sliced (white button, shitake, crimini, or mix it up) whichever you like. Sautee them in about 2 tablespoons olive oil and a pad of butter.
Salt and Pepper the mushrooms.
Once the musrooms are almost cooked throw in about 4 cloves of garlic minced (give or take depending on how much garlic you like) let that cook another 2 or 3 minutes. Be careful not to burn garlic or it will get bitter.
Then just toss mushrooms with cooked thin spagetti or angel hair pasta and another tablespoon or so of olive oil.
I sprinkle a little romano or parmasean over and serve it with a chunk of good bread.
a)cook some pasta, rinse, drain, and add some oil so it won't stick, then deep fry it for a crunchy snack
b) beat some eggs and cornstarch to make a batter; crumble some pasta and add it to the batter. Deep fry. Drain. Add the fried pasta dumplings ina soup or stew and cook for 10-15 min.

Torta di Tagliatelle: Fresh Pasta Cake Recipe copyright 2001, Mario Batali. All rights reserved.
Show: Molto Mario
Episode: Easter Sunday
3 cups flour, plus 1 cup
1 beaten egg, plus 2 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 cup butter, plus more for buttering the mold
3 tablespoons sugar, plus 3 tablespoons
1 tablespoon Marsala
1 cup almonds, peeled, toasted and finely chopped
3/4 cup almond liqueur
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Mound the flour in the center of the work space. Form a well in the center of the flour and place the egg yolks, butter, 3 tablespoons sugar, and Marsala in the center of the well. Working quickly, incorporate the ingredients into the flour, working the dough as little as possible to ensure a light crust. Roll the dough out with a rolling pin to slightly larger than the tart pan you'll be using. Butter and flour the mold and fit the dough inside. Set aside for 30 minutes.
Combine the almonds, remaining 3 tablespoons sugar, and 1 tablespoon of the almond liqueur. Set aside.
Combine the remaining 1-cup flour with the beaten egg and knead well. Roll the dough using a pasta machine out to a 1/16-inch thickness, and, using a very sharp knife, cut it into very fine ribbons. Blanch tagliatelle and shock in ice water bath. Remove and drain.
Place a layer of the ';tagliatelle'; on the bottom of the tart shell. Cover with a layer of the almond mixture, followed by another layer of the tagliatelle, alternating until both fillings have been used up.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and drizzle the tart with the remaining almond liqueur. Allow to cool, and serve at room temperature, in wedges with nocino and espresso.
Saute 1 large chopped onion with 2 cloves of crushed garlic.
Add 1 can of crushed tomatoes, 1 can of tomato soup, salt and pepper and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile cook any pasta as per instruction on the packet. Whilst that's happening add as much chopped smoked salmon to the sauce with 1/2 cup of chopped parsley and 1/2 cup of cream.
If you want it a bit spicy add 1 or 2 chopped chillies when you saute the onion.
This is yummy Even the kids love it. Quick and easy.
Shells and clams...... In a saute pan melt 1 stick of butter or olive oil if you prefer, add 2 cans chopped clams, 2 cans mushroom pieces and 3 (or more if you like) finely diced cloves of garlic. Saute over low heat till mushrooms get nice and brown. Cook and drain 1 box of med shells. Pour mushrooms and clams over shells. Sprinkle w/ salt and pepper.
I know this doesn't sound very good, I refused to make it for my hubby for years. He grew up on it. I finally made it and it is really good!!! I would even make it with fresh mushrooms and clams for an even better taste. I like fresh Parmesan on mine too!!!!
